Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CareerClutch — the mobile application, this website, and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

CareerClutch is an AI-powered interview preparation tool. It provides mock interviews, resume optimization, scoring, and coaching. The Service is a practice tool, not professional career or employment advice. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies — use your own judgment.

2. Accounts

You may use the Service anonymously. If you choose to create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

3. Subscriptions and billing

3.1 Plans

We offer Free, Pro, and Pro+ tiers. Plan inclusions and quotas are described on the Pricing page and inside the app's Upgrade screen.

3.2 Payments

Subscriptions purchased on Android are billed through Google Play Billing and governed by Google Play's terms. Subscriptions purchased through this website are billed through Dodo Payments. Top-up packs are one-time, consumable purchases.

3.3 Renewals and cancellation

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled. You can cancel from your Google Play account (Android-purchased subscriptions) or from your account settings on this website (web-purchased subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current cycle.

3.4 Refunds

Refunds are handled per Google Play's or Dodo Payments' refund policy as applicable. Top-ups are non-refundable once consumed.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Use bots or automated scripts to interact with the Service.
• Fabricate credentials or impersonate others in interview practice content.
• Use the Service to harass others or to circumvent applicable laws.
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service or its outputs as a competing service.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you put into the Service — resumes, answers, recordings. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service. We do not use your practice content to train AI models. PII is scrubbed locally before any AI call (see our Privacy Policy).

6. AI-generated content

Scores, rewrites, critiques, and questions are generated by an AI model. They may contain factual errors, biases, or inappropriate suggestions. Do not rely on AI-generated content as definitive career, legal, or financial advice.

7. Intellectual property

The CareerClutch app, website, branding, and source code are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our written permission, except as permitted by law.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from in-app Settings.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app and on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
